The Anne Hirsch Show

Mark Haze And Chloe Kiley On The Anne Hirsch Show S01 E07

Nothing brings society together more than a ruthless reality show where we get to watch our favourite contestants get booted out weekly and IdolsSA is right up there with the best of them. Not only have we managed to secure one of these Idols legends but we went the extra mile (cause we’re fit like that) and brought you TWO. Episode 7 is like a smorgasbord of talent, theres tattoos, rock ‘n roll, long pauses to drink and we even sing together…it’s reminds me of Christmas when I was younger.

Mark Haze was a runner up in the 2011 season of Idols and he’s that rocker guy that we all loved so much,  you can check out his website here, follow him on Twitter @MarkHaze12 and also make sure you buy his latest album, Where Angels Fear To FLY.

Chloe Kiley was voted out in the top 8 of 2012’s Idols after we got to know her as the chick with the crazy tattoos, so check out her website here and follow her on Twitter @ChloeKiley. But for now, just follow them right here on #TheAnneHirschShow

David Kau On The Anne Hirsch Show S01 E06

It’s Wednesday and you’re reading this which means only one thing; you are about to watch Episode 6 of The Anne Hirsch Show and we couldn’t be happier! We left the confines and comfort of our beautiful studio in this episode and took the show on it’s first ever celebrity safari and it was wilder than Lindsay Lohan at a pole-dancing competition, minus the illegal drug use and actual pole-dancing of course, not that I have anything against the Polish. We hope you enjoy the episode and if you do; share, like, comment, tell your friends and family and even the lady that does the ‘next customer please’ voice at the Woolworths tellers, she needs some good news. Also please ‘like’ The Anne Hirsch Show page on Facebook here.

Leading South African comedian David Kau’s name is synonymous with many firsts. At just 32-years-old, this Kroonstad-born comic began his career as the first black stand-up comedian in the 1998 Smirnoff Comedy Festival in Cape Town. The only black person on stage out of 44 comics. In 2005 he started the Blacks Only comedy shows giving a space for black stand-up comedians to showcase their work in their own languages. He might have jokes for days but his charity, 111 Kau Foundation,  is currently putting children from his hometown through school and helping feed and clothe kids at Dimphonyana Tsa Lapeng orphanage in Midrand. He is also a 46664 It’s No Joke ambassador. Basically he’s one of our favourites! Follow him on twitter @davidkau1 and make sure you catch him on a comedy stage near you, but for now, watch him right here.

PS. It might look like he’s playing hard to get in this episode, but I assure you, the chemistry between us was electrifying, he clearly wants a little piece of the Hirschmeister!

Laudo Liebenberg (aKing) On The Anne Hirsch Show S01 E05

Aaaand we’re back! After a brief sabatical in which we interviewed a whole red-carpet of celebrities, we are over the moon to see you again. A lot has changed in the last two weeks; my hair has grown a bit longer, a had a little cough one Thursday but it was nothing serious, I’ve decided to shelf my plans to one-day work at Woolworths and Angelina Jolie still hasn’t called me. It’s wonderful to be back in the safety and comfort of your watchful eyes and thank you for the support over the last two weeks; protesting like that on the N1 and marching to Parliament, it warmed my heart.

Laudo Liebenberg is the lead singer of aKing, a melodic rock band from Bellville. The band was formed in November 2007 by Fokofpolisiekar members Hunter Kennedy and Jaco ‘Snakehead’ Venter in collaboration with Laudo Liebenberg, and Hennie Van Halen. They’ve shared the stage with international acts like Oasis, Snow Patrol and Panic! at the Disco. Check out one of my favourite songs, Against All Odds here, also go and peruse there website here and follow them on Twitter here. Also check out cause they’re really funny and they feature The Anne Hirsch Show there.
